From Our Founder
My husband, Angel Tostado, and I, Lorena Salas, met in 1999 and were married three years later. Then in 2004, God blessed us with our first son, Angel F. Tostado. Our baby boy brought us so much joy, and I was able to experience the true love of a mother. In 2006, I was expecting again, which filled us with excitement. We hoped for a girl, and God answered our prayers, but only for a short time. Due to pregnancy complications, our precious princess, Angelica Tostado, was born on July 26, 2006, and lived just 24 hours before going to be in the presence of God.
This painful loss plunged me into a deep depression, and I thought I would never recover. However, two years later, God healed my heart and revealed my purpose on this earth, giving me the vision for Angelica’s Ministry. In 2010, God blessed our lives again with the arrival of our son, Alexander Tostado. He brought renewed happiness to our family and showed us that God fulfills His promises. Through His love and grace, we realized our mission—to create Angelica’s Ministry as a way to share hope and healing with others.
I firmly believe that the loss of a loved one is not something we can overcome overnight, but with God’s help, we can learn to live and find healing more quickly. My conviction is that everyone should come to know our Lord Jesus Christ and have the promise of eternal life. For those of us who believe, goodbyes are not forever—they are “see you soon.”
No one should feel alone in their pain. If you need help or want to help others, you will always be welcome with us.

A Mother’s Journey
Lorena Salas’s story began with the birth of her daughter, Angelica Tostado, who tragically lived only 24 hours due to birth complications. Devastated by this loss, Lorena fell into a deep depression, believing she would never recover. But two years later, God healed her heart and revealed her purpose—to turn her pain into a mission of hope.
The Birth of Angelica's Ministry
Guided by the vision God placed on her heart, Lorena founded Angelica’s Ministry in 2008 in honor of her daughter’s short but impactful life. Angelica’s Ministry became a source of light, connection and care for families seeking solace and strength and spiritual care during emotional and difficult times.
The Evolution to Angelica’s Connection
As the ministry grew, Lorena recognized the need to expand its mission to serve an even broader community. In 2022, Angelica’s Connections was established, combining the heart of Angelica’s Ministry with a more comprehensive approach to offering resources, education, and support services.
Continuing the Mission
Today, Angelica’s Connections carries forward Angelica’s legacy, driven by Lorena’s passion and the support of a dedicated community. Our organization provides essential programs, builds meaningful relationships, and fosters hope for a brighter future for our community.
